This book is a must for anyone serious about learning HTML. It is straightforward and easy to follow. I don’t know if you can learn HTML in 24 hours – but you will learn it rapidly with this book. The only drawback to it is that it doesn’t contain a color chart or a character entities chart.

An excellent introduction to web site navigation. His use of pictures and screen shots makes the words come to life. We’ve been designing web sites for years and this book turned our thought process about navigation inside out. This book includes the color chart and character entries. Plus it explains some aspects of HTML differently than Dick Oliver’s version. It’s always good to have two sources to turn to when learning complicated code.
