SEO Philosophy

Web marketing is all about web real-estate. Those who own more of the real-estate, win the search engine game. The more pages you have, the more likely you will be indexed by the search engines. The more keywords that your site comes up in searches for, the more traffic you will receive.

Your pages should pull traffic for a wide variety of keyword phrases. This is just as important as getting a top-ten listing for a very specific keyword phrase. While you'll optimize each page to rank in the top ten for one or two keywrod phrases, it may be more important to analyze your overall site traffic.

If your page is fairly well optimized for a few words and phrases, you'll find that it pulls visitors using a wide range of keyword phrases - some will even be phrases 4 to 6 words long - some will be phrases you never thought of.

If the page is pulling any type of traffic, don't mess with it. If it is indexed and not pulling any type of traffic, start tweaking it. You need a good tracking program to see which pages are bringing traffic.
