Meta Tags
Introduction
Meta Tags can be used to help improve your rankings and also to help SE's index your pages. However,
on the specifics page you will notice that not all SE's support meta tags. That's OK,
you will use them anyway. When you start analyzing your competitors sites, you will find that some pages ranking in the top 10 do not even use meta tags. Don't worry about this, you are going
to use meta tags because you want to do the most thorough job you can at promoting.
Placement
Your meta tags will go between your </TITLE> tag and your </HEAD> tag.
Design
Here is what it would look like:

<META NAME="KEYWORDS" CONTENT="my keywords">
</HEAD>
Write the above in your notebook. Leave space for your title, your description, and your keywords. (Do not write anything
that is written in lower case, leave that space open, but do include all punctuation marks.)
